One dreamer's experience:
A social worker, who wanted to support Iraqi veterans, told me in a telephone consult she wanted to interview soldiers when they returned from combat. That night she dreamt soldiers were coming back in body bags. At the same time, she was extricating herself, with the help of her dreams, from an abusive marriage.
We talked again, and she said, based on her dreams, she was revising her plan to work with young people BEFORE THEY ENLISTED. Her agenda: to work with low-income, potential military recruits like those she had counseled as a social worker.
Calling upon her dreams, she clarified her calling.

In this class, you will learn how dreams can enhance self-expression. Dreams can guide the direction, content, and business of your writing and your work. You will use your dreams to literally help you write articles, books, and films.
In this educational course, you will learn how to understand dreams and how others have used dreams for creativity and self-expression.
The course builds on my dream experiences and research and work with others since 1984 when I remembered my first dream. Dreams gave me the ending for a screenplay I was writing. Dreams dictated the script for a documentary on health and healing. Since the 2000 election, dreams have helped me, as a journalist, report political news.

Whether you're feeling despair or powerlessness or hopelessness, learn how to channel your outrage about the tragic state of the world into positive, concrete action. In this magical course, journalist and dream guidance teacher Joyce Lynn, whose students have found their own powerful personal missions, will show you how to use your nocturnal messages—your dreams—for social change. She will teach you how you can do well by doing good and how you can feel good by doing what is right for you.
In this course, you will learn:
- how others have used dreams for social change;
- information on understanding dream types and dream symbols
- how dreams can help you overcome blocks to action, and
- how dreams can impart the direction of your political action agenda and formulate and implement your plan
Joyce Lynn directs PlumDreams.com, a communications website. She is also an internationally published journalist and the author of Plum Dreams Diary, an ebook on mothers, men, and modern medicine, and the soon to be published FRANKENBUSH: Inside Sources Reveal How a Texas Cowboy and His Cabal Stole the White House and the World while You Were Shopping.
Her students include artists, peace activists, therapists, homemakers and parents, social workers, and small business owners.
This class takes place online via a list serve. You will receive the class lessons and share your dreams and responses to your classmates via a special email-type program. Students find they like the convenience of accessing the information on their own schedule and the anonymity of an online class. One class will be a teleclass so we can interact in real time with each other.

Truth Circles
Consciousness-raising groups were the powerful tool of the feminist movement of the 60s and 70s. The personal was political. We desperately need spiritual consciousness raising now as it is the spiritual that will create the world we desire. For this century, the personal is the spiritual; the spiritual is political.

Joyce teaches and writes and speaks about the healing and truth telling power of dreams.
In 1984, she remembered her first dream, which imparted the ending for a screenplay she was writing. Later, when faced with a potential health crisis, she discovered dreams offered the place where healing could happen. Later, dreams dictated the script for a documentary. Since the 2000 election, dreams have helped her as a journalist report political news. Dreams have helped her find direction and purpose in her work and her life.
In addition to writing and lecturing about dreams since 1988, she created classes on dreams and healing. Melding a Master's degree in Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Education, she teaches these educational workshops on how to use dream wisdom for guidance, insight, and change.
Her mission: to share the power of dreams so that we can all use inner guidance to bring healing and peace to our own lives and the lives of others.
